- How do I apply? How much does it cost? All applications are submitted online. Text 662-352-8088 your full name, email address, how many bedrooms, and preferred move-in date. There is a $50.00 application fee that is paid online. Each person over the age of 18 residing in the property must put in an application.
- How can I sign my lease? All lease agreements are signed electronically. You will get a notification through your email requesting a signature. We encourage all tenants to keep a copy of their signed lease agreement.
- Do I need a guarantor? Anyone applying under the age of 21 will be required to have a guarantor.
- Is the rent rate per room or for the whole property? This varies by property. Give our office a call if you are specifically interested in a shared unit.
- Do you allow pets? How much does it cost? Is there pet rent? We do allow pets. However, breed restrictions may apply. The pet deposit is $200 and non-refundable. We charge a $25.00 additional monthly pet fee. (*Not all properties allow)
- What are the terms of the lease? Do you offer short-term lease or month-to-month. Our lease runs from August - July of the following year. The lease terms are non-negotiable; however, we do allow for subleasing should you need to leave the property before your lease ends (prior management approval required). Any tenant subleasing should notify the office, in writing, or their intent to sublease, and the new tenant must be approved.
- Are there any utilities, cable, or internet included with my rent? No. Utilities, cable, and internet are not included in most cases. This is property specific, however, so you should check with the leasing manager to make sure.
- Do I have to put down a security deposit? Yes, security deposits are required for all our properties and may vary in cost. The security deposit is equal to one month's rent at most properties. For example: If your rent is $600 a month, your security deposit would be $600.
- I have an issue that requires maintenance. How do I notify Potter Property Management? All maintenance orders are to be entered through the residential portal of AppFolio. You can access this on our website or by the URL that was sent to your email. You can keep track of all your maintenance request through AppFolio. You can submit a work order at any time, day or night.
